Unless this is your first time visiting my blog (welcome if it is!), you know that I live in Chicago, or at least near Chicago. But you probably don’t know that my brother lives in Japan. He is my partner in crime (and I’m sure he is cringing as he reads this) and one of my best friends. Even with our seven year age gap.

While I won’t go into too many details about why he is there or what he is up to since those are his life details and not really my own, I did want to write about what it is like to have a loved one so far away, and how to cope with it. Though I do want to say that I am extremely proud of him and that he is amazing. I’m not sure if I say that enough, so now it’s on the internet forever.
